Back to School Drive

Going to school is a great opportunity for children to receive an education and socialize with their peers. Many are excited to see their friends again and look forward to what the new school year brings. Sadly, going back to school can be a hardship on many families who are unable to provide the essential tools to help their children succeed.

Every year, we assist families and their school-aged students with backpacks and school supplies during our Back to School Drive. Throughout the years, we have helped hundreds of students all across Gwinnett County.

This year, we are helping families with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, and a maximum of 4 students per family. To request supplies, you will need to provide proof of residence in Gwinnett County and a birth certificate for each child. Although we’d like to help every family who reaches out to us, we have limited resources, and many families sadly aim to take advantage of our generosity. The proof of residency and birth certificates are our way of ensuring that those who truly need the help are able to receive it. After signing up, we will provide more details as to the date, time, and location of the Back to School Distribution.

Donation Drop Box

If you prefer to do your own shopping, you can drop off backpacks and other school supplies at Bubba’s 33 Restaurant in Buford by Mall of Georgia.

Walmart Registry

You can make a difference in the lives of school-aged kids and their families by donating backpacks and other school items for our Back to School Drive. Conveniently shop our Walmart registry, and supplies can be shipped directly to us.
